This year marks 40 years of Global Responsible Care, and we could not be more honoured to announce that Safe Use of Diisocyanates has been awarded the European Responsible Care® Award 2025 from Cefic, recognising our commitment to safety in the chemical industry.

Spreading Responsible Care® Ethic Across Chemicals Value and Supply Chain
Under the leadership of ISOPA and ALIPA, and in close cooperation with experts from our member companies, representatives from key downstream associations in the polyurethane industry, and contributions from external partners, we developed a pioneering digital training platform, without any existing blueprint to follow.
Despite an extremely tight timeline, we developed a platform offering a wide variety of training modules in all EU-relevant languages that address the full range of exposure risks associated with handling diisocyanates.
Building on our leading role, we developed a comprehensive Train-the-Trainer programme to equip senior staff with the expertise to become Safety Experts on diisocyanates. We went even further by leveraging our success in Europe to expand the platform globally.
With over 890,000 online registrations and a network of over 200 internal and external trainers, the Safe Use of Diisocyanates project has seen remarkable success. We are extremely proud to receive this recognition, an award that belongs to everyone who contributed to making this project a true success story.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to maintaining the highest safety standards and will continue to develop and expand the Safe Use of Diisocyanates training project, bringing vital safety knowledge to workers in the EU and across the globe.
