On September 25th 2018, ALIPA and ISOPA together with Urethane Technology International conducted their 2nd international Webinar to inform industry and other stakeholders about the proposed restriction by ECHA on diisocyanates.

The webinar was a resounding success with 706 registrations and a participation of 460 at peak time.  Jörg Palmersheim, Secretary General of ALIPA/ISOPA, Ronald van den Bosch, Chair of Product Stewardship at ISOPA (DOW), and Luc Thys, Chair of the Technical Working Group at FEICA (Soudal) provided key insights (see slidepack) into the status of the dossier.

In addition to hosting Webinars on the issue of the REACH restriction of diisocyanates, ALIPA and ISOPA have also created an eBook which aims to answer all questions members and key stakeholders may have with regard to diisocyanates, their safe handling, and the restriction dossier itself.
