Starting in April, TÜV Rheinland will offer a course to become a certified safety expert on diisocyanates in cooperation with ISOPA/ALIPA. The course is designed for both in-house and external trainers who wish to conduct training on the safe use of diisocyanates within their own companies or for external clients.
With this new course, participants will learn about the REACH restriction that will come into force on 24 August 2023, obtaining information about ISOPA/ALIPA’s training materials and selecting the appropriate training for the target audience.
This is a hybrid course taking place over 3 ½ days. Lectures with an on-site trainer are scheduled for the first two days. The following 1 ½ days are virtual: The ISOPA/ALIPA online training platform is used by participants to familiarize themselves with the training materials. The final stage of the journey is completing case studies, answering 60 questions, and receiving a certificate after passing the exam.
As of now, the first courses will be held in Germany, with training in German and English. It is the aim of ISOPA/ALIPA and TÜV Rheinland to offer those courses also in other EU member states in the relevant languages. The first registration dates are as follows:
- 24-27 April 2023 – Cologne
- 12-15 June 2023 – Berlin
- 11-14 July 2023 – Cologne (in English)
- 11-14 September 2023 – Nuremberg
- 23-26 October 2023 – Hamburg
- 27-30 November 2023 – Cologne
